Terms of Service

Welcome to Tenner. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Tenner app and website (collectively, "the Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. Who can use Tenner

You must be at least 13 years old to use Tenner. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

2. Your account

• You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account.
• You agree to provide accurate information (such as a valid email address) when signing up.
• You may not impersonate others or create accounts on behalf of someone else without permission.
• You can delete your account at any time by emailing contact@mytenner.com.

3. Your content

Tenner lets you create lists, comments, reactions, and other content ("Your Content"). You retain ownership of Your Content. By posting it, you grant Tenner a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, store, reproduce, and share Your Content with the friends and groups you choose to share it with, and to use it for the purposes described in our Privacy Policy (including aggregated insights and personalized recommendations).

You're responsible for Your Content and represent that you have the right to post it.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Post content that is illegal, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit involving minors, threatening, defamatory, or that infringes someone else's rights.
• Spam, scrape, reverse-engineer, or abuse the Service.
• Use Tenner to send unsolicited messages or harass other users.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or to Tenner's systems.
• Use bots, automated tools, or scripts to interact with the Service without our written permission.

We reserve the right to remove content or suspend/terminate accounts that violate these rules.

5. Friends, groups, and shared content

When you share a list with a friend or group, those people can see and react to it. Tenner is not responsible for how friends or group members use content you've shared with them. Think before you share.

6. Beta service

Tenner is currently in beta. Features may change, break, or disappear. Data may occasionally be lost during updates. We'll do our best to keep things stable but make no guarantees.

7. Service availability

We provide Tenner "as is" and don't guarantee that it will always be available, error-free, or secure. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time.

8. Third-party services

Tenner uses Google for optional sign-in and Supabase for backend infrastructure. Your use of those services is also subject to their respective terms. We're not responsible for third-party services.

9. Affiliate links & monetization

Tenner includes affiliate links from Amazon and, in the future, other retailers. When you click a "Shop" or similar link and make a qualifying purchase, Tenner may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate links are labeled with "Ad" or similar language. As an Amazon Associate, Tenner earns from qualifying purchases. Tenner is not responsible for the products, service, or content of any third-party retailer.

10. Intellectual property

The Tenner name, logo, and app design are owned by us. You may not copy, modify, or use them without permission, except as needed to use the Service normally.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TENNER AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

13. Termination

You can stop using Tenner at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or for any reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. Significant changes will be communicated through the app or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which the Tenner operator resides, without regard to conflict of law principles.
