Tenner brings friends, family, and groups together to discover what you have in common, learn what makes each other tick, and spark the kind of conversations that make every relationship better. And along the way — by sharing and comparing lists with the people you know — you might just stumble onto your new favorite movie, TV show, restaurant, book, or you-fill-in-the-blank.
A secondary but very real benefit: nobody in your circle should ever get a bad gift again. Every Tenner user has a personalized gift page built straight from their Top 10 lists — a shortcut for family, friends, and anyone else who wants to buy something they'll actually love.
What we collect
To make Tenner work, we collect your email and (if you sign in with Google) your name and profile picture. We store the lists you create, the friends and groups you connect with, the comments and reactions you post, and your email preferences.
How we use it
We may use this data to suggest gift ideas based on your friends' lists, show app-wide aggregated insights (like the most-picked movie across all of Tenner), and personalize what we recommend. Your lists are only visible to your friends and group members — never to the wider community.
What we don't do
We never sell your raw personal data. You control which emails you receive from Tenner in your profile settings — and you can unsubscribe from any category at any time. For the full details, see Tenner's Privacy Policy and Tenner's Terms of Service. By using Tenner, you agree to both.
Tenner is meant to be a friendly place. Uploading or posting hate speech, harassment, sexually explicit content, threats, or any content involving the sexual exploitation of minors is prohibited.
How we enforce it
Every comment, list item, group name, profile photo, and group photo is checked by an automated moderation system before it saves. Text is scored across categories including hate, harassment, threats, sexual content, and self-harm; images are checked for the same plus adult content. Anything flagged is blocked at submit time with a friendly explanation, and the user is given a chance to rephrase or pick a different image.
All images served on Tenner also flow through Cloudflare's CSAM Scanning Tool, which hash-matches uploads against the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children's database in real time. Any match is automatically blocked and reported to NCMEC and other authorities as required by law.
Report anything you see
Every comment on a friend's list has a ⋯ menu with a Report option. Reports go straight to our moderation queue and we review them promptly. If we find a violation, we'll delete the content and — for repeat or severe violations — suspend the account.
If your account is suspended
You'll see a suspension screen on next app open with the reason. If you believe it was a mistake, reply to the notification email or reach out at contact@mytenner.com and we'll review.
The Shop links on gift pages and gift-category pages are Amazon affiliate links. As an Amazon Associate, Tenner earns a small commission on qualifying purchases at no extra cost to you. That's currently the only way Tenner makes money — no ads, no data sales.
